Jenny and Owen - Kingston Wedding Photography - Howe Island Wedding

Howe Island Wedding – Jenny and Owen

ahhh Howe Island B&B …you’ll forever be etched into my brain as a beautiful spot for a wedding (and the owners will not only treat you like family but have you in stitches laughing.) Jenny and Owen now live in Vancouver, were married in Vegas, and decided to have their reception back home at the Howe Island B&B. The rain couldn’t damper the smile on either of their faces and the spirit of a small invasion of Aussie’s made the […]

Rayna and Andrew - Kingston Wedding Photography - Leopard Frog Barn

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Rayna and Andrew

Rayna and Andrew held their Kingston Wedding at Leopard Frog Farm just north of the City under a gorgeous blue sky on a beautiful August day. Their infectious laughter, Rayna’s beaming smile and Andrew awesome sense of humor (combined with his dashing good looks in that suit) made the day truly theirs and one for the books. Any wedding that has MacKinnon Brothers beer on tap is a good one :) A big thank you to Maria Offin Photography for 2nd shooting […]

Kingston Engagement Photography - Meghan and Andrew

Meghan and Andrew – Kingston Fall Fair Engagement

Meghan and Andrew had their hearts set on having their engagement photos done at the Kingston Fall Fair.  We arrived and went for a few rides (including my first ever ride on a ferris wheel) and had some fun playing games and doing carnival things.

Napanee Wedding Photography – Katie and Brennan

Katie called me last October and we chatted for a while about the wedding her and Brennan were planning for the following summer.  She said she’d seen my work on a couple’s personal blog and wanted to know if I was free for her date.  I was excited at the opportunity to shoot at Doghouse Studios in Napanee where they were holding their reception, a venue I was really keen on shooting in.  It’s a combination of my favorite things to photograph – old factories […]

Derek and Jessica - Kingston Proposal

Jessica and Derek – Proposal at Stauffer Library

Surprise Proposal Photography @ Stauffer Library, Queen’s University – Jessica and Derek Jessica was one of my son’s favorite day care teachers (she’s now a school teacher.)  I’d photographed her and her sisters as a present for their parents in 2012.   When Derek called saying he was going to propose and wanted me to photograph it for him I was pretty excited. They met via likealittle – a now defunct social network site designed to allow students to post anonymous flirts with people […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Victor and Amelia

I LOVE black and white photos. When my wife (Stephanie) and I got married in 2001 we asked our photographer to shoot b/w film because we both love the classy and timeless look of it.  Each year I make a personal project out of 1 wedding I’ve shot and process the complete day in b/w.  From this past year I chose Victor and Amelia’s wedding – this was one of my 2nd shooting jobs for the fabulous Gerald McGrath of GPM Photography. Victor and Amelia’s awesome […]

Rayna and Andrew - Kingston Engagement Photography

Rayna and Andrew – Kingston Engagement

Rayna and Andrew love the water and spend a lot of time paddle-boarding and camping.  They’ll be being married lakeside, north of Kingston, later this summer.  We met on a beautiful Sunday morning to shoot their engagement session near Lake Ontario. Andrew is a joker and I’ve been told that the wedding will be more of a family party than a wedding day.  I love parties …I’m all in :)

Tiffany and Mike - Kingston Wedding Photographer - Rideau Acres Wedding Photography

Tiffany and Mike – Kingston Wedding

Tiffany and Mike were married in early February on a very snowy day.  They contacted me after their wedding to see if I’d be available to shoot some more portraits as the weather prohibited spending a lot of time outside.  We met at the Kingston Mills Locks and spent the late afternoon wandering around and showing some love.  The newlyweds were still just as beaming as they were on their wedding day a couple of weeks earlier.

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Jenny and Tervor

Fort Henry Wedding with Jenny and Trevor in Kingston, Ontario. Jenny and Trevor were married at Fort Henry on the raniest day of 2013 but some damp weather was not going to stop them from having a party.  The fairy tale wedding theme was a gorgeous setting with pinks and white brightening up the day for everyone as these two laughed and celebrated their love. I’d been the 2nd shooter at Jenny’s sister wedding a couple of years earlier with the awesome […]

Todd and Meg - Napanee Wedding Photography

Napanee Wedding Photography – Todd and Meg’s

Meg and Todd are both Kindergarten Teachers who met in University.  Their backyard wedding in Erinsville (North of Napanee) featured a boat arrival of the bride and a group singing Oil Thigh (the Queen’s University Song) and some shot gunned beers at dusk to remember the University days and celebrate the friendship of all in attendance from their school days.
