Kingston Wedding Photographer – Spindletree Gardens Wedding

What else can you ask for on your wedding day but to be surrounded by those that love you, have outstanding weather (October is always a crapshoot for weather) and to laugh and party the day away with the person you love. Carleigh and Micheal did exactly that – love and laughter follow these two wherever they go. Below are some of my favorite images from the day.  Big thanks to Garrett Elliott for second shooting with me (a few of the […]

Napanee Wedding Photographer – Doghouse Studios

I’ve shot 6 weddings at Doghouse Studios this summer (the 6th will be NYE) and every single one has been amazing.  It’s such a unique venue locally for smaller weddings and I love spending my days there.  On top of being a really cool venue, the staff are amazeballs! Morgan contacted me early in the spring and we discussed their plans.  Since, at the time, they both lived pretty far away, they wanted to find a spot that was close for friends and family to […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Renaissance Event Centre

Shooting in downtown Kingston is excellent …part of that is because there’s a lot of pubs nearby that you can kill time in if you’re running ahead of schedule.  For Meghan’s wedding day that included a stop at the Tir Nan Og for a glass of wine (with a straw) for her and the girls. One of my favorite parts of Meghan and Andrew’s wedding day was the Dad/Daughter first look.  I’ve done a lot of first looks this year […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Penny and Jarrett’s Cottage Wedding

Arriving at Penny’s family cottage with the threat of rain overhead Jarrett was checking his weather app frequently and saying “it’s gonna pass, no big deal …we’re going for it!”  The backup plan was a houseparty (they play in a band together and both figured they’d played house shows with more people than at the wedding so they could pull that off if need be. The rain held – they got married on the ‘swimming rock’ in front of 70 […]

Kingston Engagement Photography – Rachel and Kevin

I usually ask my couples to tell me the story of their engagement.  It helps me to learn more about them to incorporate into our pre-wedding session.  I want to know what they like to do together and where they like to spend their time so I can help them create meaningful photos in a place they feel comfortable or in doing something that they like to do as a couple. Kevin and Rachel spend a lot of time canoeing on the […]

Kingston Wedding Photography - Kerrianne and Michael

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Amherstview Golf Club Wedding

Michael and his groomsmen started the day off at the Expert Tees pro mini-golf course for a quick round before heading back to the Green Acres Inn to get ready while Kerrianne and her bridesmaids were at the other end of the building avoiding each other when going outside by sending texts to other bridal party members. Before heading for the walk down the aisle at Amherstview Golf Club their first look at the Inn was a sweet moment for each of them as Kerrianne […]

Kingston Engagement Photographer – Ashley and Mike

A cool breeze followed us around the Queen’s University campus after an incredibly hot day in the city.  We chased the sunset in between spits of rain and made some photos.  Their wedding will be held in Napanee at DogHouse Studios (which quickly becoming one of my favorite venues) in August Here’s a few of my favorites from their Kingston engagement photo session

Gananoque Engagement Photographer – Stephanie and Colin

Stephanie and Colin are set to hit Lake Ontario for their Kingston wedding aboard the Island Queen in July.  They’re from the Kingston + Ottawa areas respectively but now live in Calgary.  While they were home for Easter (and a wedding shower featuring a beer tasting from Gananoque Brewing Co.!) we figured it’d be a great time to get together and wander around Gananoque for a while to make some photos.

Kingston Engagement Photographer – Jessica and Derek

If you come back to my blog periodically you’ll probably recognize these two from Derek’s proposal to Jessica at Stauffer Library on the Queen’s University Campus last November.  If you don’t remember them, Derek’s the dude that planned an elaborate scavenger hunt for Jessica.  His clues taking her all over the city finding the answers that were related to their relationship, culminating in leading her back the spot they met at Stauffer Library where he got down on one knee and popped […]
