Mid-October isn’t normally the time you’d find people climbing the Sandbanks Dunes but it’s where you’d find Alli and Kyle for their Prince Edward County Engagement Photography!
We parked amongst a few other cars outside the now locked gates to the Dunes and wandered in finding several families having picnics on a beautiful late afternoon… we wandered in and up the 6 story high mountains of sand and found some quiet spaces to sit and let them hang out and chat about their wedding, their story and their dog.
We found an exercise bike on top of the one of the hills and we marvelled at the thought of being on that bike as the sun rose and what a view it must be (a little overcast on our day so it wasn’t as scenic as it normally is from the top)… whoever dragged that bike up the hill must have realllly wanted to work out with that view.
We moved on from the Dunes to Lakeshore Lodge and found some rocks to hang out on. As the waves splashed in they quickly ditched their shoes to stand along the water’s edge and snuggle/shriek as the cold waves splashed up over the rock’s edge.
Here’s a bunch of my favorites from their Sandbank Engagement Photography session:
