I LOVE black and white photos.
When my wife (Stephanie) and I got married in 2001 we asked our photographer to shoot b/w film because we both love the classy and timeless look of it. Each year I make a personal project out of 1 wedding I’ve shot and process the complete day in b/w. From this past year I chose Victor and Amelia’s wedding – this was one of my 2nd shooting jobs for the fabulous Gerald McGrath of GPM Photography.
Victor and Amelia’s awesome day took place at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Kingston. Their wedding’s unique touch was having 2 officiants work together; one from each of their respective churches. The reception at featured decor by 45 Design.
I noticed the board games when I went in to the room to shoot details as part of my 2nd shooter duties and thought “What a great idea to give people something to do while mingling”. It wasn’t until later that I heard the story of how Victor and Amelia met at a party while playing these same board games.
