Arriving at Penny’s family cottage with the threat of rain overhead Jarrett was checking his weather app frequently and saying “it’s gonna pass, no big deal …we’re going for it!” The backup plan was a houseparty (they play in a band together and both figured they’d played house shows with more people than at the wedding so they could pull that off if need be.
The rain held – they got married on the ‘swimming rock’ in front of 70 of their closest friends and family and it rocked. Any wedding that finishes with everyone out of their suits/ties/dresses and into bathing suits to swim out to the raft with beer / wine being delivered by paddle board is a good day.
