I grew up in Trenton and although I’ve now been living in Kingston longer than I lived in Trenton, it’s still home (and home to my mom). I’d never photographed a wedding back home so when Caitlin asked if I was available I was excited.
I arrived at Matt’s house to do my 2nd shooter duties covering the Groom and found the guys hanging out in the back yard playing with Hooch (their beloved fur friend) and razzing the Groom. After everyone assured each other that they’d followed instructions properly on the ties and cuffs we hit the cornfield in the back yard for some portraits. I knew I was back home when shotguns came out for some photos (we all double checked that they were not loaded and had safety locks on).
The limo arrived (McCoy-Tower Limousine) and we were off to Hillier Creek Estates for an intimate gathering of family and friends and a dance party to rival any club on a Saturday night.
