Kingston Wedding Photographer – Amy and Ryan’s Farm Wedding

When your farm has a horse field, a quarry and a beautiful barn you have your wedding there.  Amy and Ryan spend a few weeks preparing their quarry area for the ceremony location and it was an absolutely perfect spot for them to share their wedding day with friends and family.  The clouds loomed but the rain that threatened us all day never did start. Here’s a few of my favorite images from their day:

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Cataraqui Creek Wedding – Raelyn and Greg

Raelyn and Greg are rock climbers and general outdoorsy type people so getting married at Cataraqui Creek Conservation Authority was the perfect place for them.  Here’s a few of my favorites from the short afternoon ceremony and reception:

Peterborough Wedding Photographer – Canadian Canoe Museum Wedding

Adrianne and Adam chose the Canadian Canoe Museum as their reception venue for its unique atmosphere and the historic nature of the contents.  Being from the US and now working and living in Canada, Adam had his family and friends arrive a few days before to tour the area and experience what Peterborough and area has to offer for tourists.  A destination wedding doesn’t always have to be the Dominican or Mexico. We started the day at the Riverview Zoo […]

Ottawa Wedding Photographer – Chelsea and Rob Farm Wedding

I met Chelsea and Rob at a wedding a couple of years ago where Rob was a groomsman (Stephanie and Colin’s Wedding was also an insanely awesome party).  We hit it off talking about bands and beer (Rob’s a singer in a band and also a beer lover) and they said “When we get married you’re our guy!”  …fast forward a year and he popped the question and she sent me an email asking if I was available (well – […]

Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada Award – Winter 2017 Competition!

I bust my ass at every wedding to make something special for my couple on their big day.  When you give your photographer time, and trust their vision to create something unique with you, you’ll end up with wedding photos that aren’t just snapshots and art for your livingroom walls :) I concentrate on capturing natural moments, telling your story through those emotional connections between you and your guests.  It’s my goal to show you the wedding day that you […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Sarah and Tyler

Summer 2016 will go down on record as one of the driest summers ever; but when it rained, it realllllly rained (and mostly on Saturdays).  Sarah and Tyler weren’t letting rain stop their dreams of having an outdoor wedding on their property (uhhh the log cabin THEY built with their own hands!) and making it a party. They weren’t kidding when they said they wanted a party …

Prince Edward County Wedding Photographer – Picton Farm Wedding – Elise and Neil

This summer will go down as one of the driest in our memories.  When he rained it was needed badly so no one complained; even if it was on their wedding day.  Neil and Elise decided to get married on Neil’s family farm in Prince Edward County where they spend their summers.  Camping, having a fire listening to someone play guitar, swimming and walks in the woods are among their favorite things to do on here so they incorporated almost everything into […]

Brighton Wedding Photographer – Timber House Wedding – Meredith and Adam

Adam and Meredith are travelers and decided on a travel theme for their wedding.  While on their adventures around the world they stop at statues and photograph themselves recreating the poses of each statue.  Those statues and their poses served as the method to get them to kiss during their reception… The Airline Attendants (Emcees) guided everyone on board the plane to pick a photo, re-enact the scene and if they were successful the bride and groom would kiss. A […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Rob and Emily’s Wolfe Island Wedding

I’ve lived in Kingston for the a little more than 20 years now and Rob was one of the first people I met in the local music scene when I moved here… Playing one of my first shows as a Kingstonian we had him on monitors and oh boy was it awesome.  We’ve worked a bunch of shows together since and he’s been the monitor eng and drum tech for the Trews for the last 10-ish years.  When they asked me […]
