Kingston Engagement Photography - Kingston Wedding Photography - Kerrianne and Michael

Kingston Engagement Photographer – Kerrianne and Michael

I met Kerrianne and Michael a couple of months ago at my usual meeting spot (The Mansion – a great selection of beers on tap too!) and we discussed their rapidly approaching wedding.  Immediately I enjoyed Kerrianne’s energy and Michaels easy going nature.  Their wedding @ Amherstview Golf Club was going to be a party and I definitely had to shoot it. We met this past weekend in downtown Kingston at sunrise and made our way through confederation basin as they […]

Gananoque Engagement Photographer – Stephanie and Colin

Stephanie and Colin are set to hit Lake Ontario for their Kingston wedding aboard the Island Queen in July.  They’re from the Kingston + Ottawa areas respectively but now live in Calgary.  While they were home for Easter (and a wedding shower featuring a beer tasting from Gananoque Brewing Co.!) we figured it’d be a great time to get together and wander around Gananoque for a while to make some photos.

Kingston Engagement Photographer – Jessica and Derek

If you come back to my blog periodically you’ll probably recognize these two from Derek’s proposal to Jessica at Stauffer Library on the Queen’s University Campus last November.  If you don’t remember them, Derek’s the dude that planned an elaborate scavenger hunt for Jessica.  His clues taking her all over the city finding the answers that were related to their relationship, culminating in leading her back the spot they met at Stauffer Library where he got down on one knee and popped […]

Kingston Engagement Photography - Meghan and Andrew

Meghan and Andrew – Kingston Fall Fair Engagement

Meghan and Andrew had their hearts set on having their engagement photos done at the Kingston Fall Fair.  We arrived and went for a few rides (including my first ever ride on a ferris wheel) and had some fun playing games and doing carnival things.

Beth and Andrew – Trent University Engagement Photography

Andrew proposed to Beth on the back steps of the Bata Library on the Trent University campus and during their consult we were discussing what to do for their engagement photos when he had the idea of going back there.  It’s a spot they both loved spending time at while in school.  The library sits on a riverbank and with its seclusion, made a great spot to pop the question and a great place to snuggle up and make some […]

Derek and Jessica - Kingston Proposal

Jessica and Derek – Proposal at Stauffer Library

Surprise Proposal Photography @ Stauffer Library, Queen’s University – Jessica and Derek Jessica was one of my son’s favorite day care teachers (she’s now a school teacher.)  I’d photographed her and her sisters as a present for their parents in 2012.   When Derek called saying he was going to propose and wanted me to photograph it for him I was pretty excited. They met via likealittle – a now defunct social network site designed to allow students to post anonymous flirts with people […]

Rayna and Andrew - Kingston Engagement Photography

Rayna and Andrew – Kingston Engagement

Rayna and Andrew love the water and spend a lot of time paddle-boarding and camping.  They’ll be being married lakeside, north of Kingston, later this summer.  We met on a beautiful Sunday morning to shoot their engagement session near Lake Ontario. Andrew is a joker and I’ve been told that the wedding will be more of a family party than a wedding day.  I love parties …I’m all in :)

Heather and Korey - Picton Engagement Photography - Picton Heights

Heather and Korey – Picton Engagement

Heather and Korey contacted me after researching photos of their venue; searching hashtags on instagram for weddings at The Crystal Palace.  Heather spotted a photo I’d shot in the summer at a wedding and posted to IG and after some digging, found a shot that I’d been tagged in that showed my mismatched cons.  She found my contact info and after looking around at my images they decided to contact me.  They traveled from Oshawa on a chilly Sunday morning […]

Nick and Carrie - Kingston Engagement Photography

Nick and Carrie – Kingston Engagement

Nick and Carrie live in Toronto now (Carrie from Minnesota and Nick from Hamilton).  They’ve chosen Picton (Fields on West Lake) as their wedding location for August of this year. I like to spend some time with my couples doing something they enjoy so we met downtown on the Easter weekend at a local coffee shop (thanks to Sipps Coffee and Dessert Bar for opening early for us!) where they played some Cribbage and then some bicycling along the waterfront paths […]
