Stephanie and Colin are set to hit Lake Ontario for their Kingston wedding aboard the Island Queen in July. They’re from the Kingston + Ottawa areas respectively but now live in Calgary. While they were home for Easter (and a wedding shower featuring a beer tasting from Gananoque Brewing Co.!) we figured it’d be a great time to get together and wander around Gananoque for a while to make some photos.

Meghan and Andrew had their hearts set on having their engagement photos done at the Kingston Fall Fair. We arrived and went for a few rides (including my first ever ride on a ferris wheel) and had some fun playing games and doing carnival things.
Andrew proposed to Beth on the back steps of the Bata Library on the Trent University campus and during their consult we were discussing what to do for their engagement photos when he had the idea of going back there. Rayna and Andrew love the water and spend a lot of time paddle-boarding and camping. They’ll be being married lakeside, north of Kingston, later this summer. We met on a beautiful Sunday morning to shoot their engagement session near Lake Ontario. Andrew is a joker and I’ve been told that the wedding will be more of a family party than a wedding day. Nick and Carrie live in Toronto now (Carrie from Minnesota and Nick from Hamilton). They’ve chosen Picton (Fields on West Lake) as their wedding location for August of this year.
